I love art school stereotypes.I went to the Montserrat College of Art accepted students day. It was alright. I just feel like I wouldn't be as challenged there. It's less competitive and has fewer opportunities. Plus all the cool kids are gonna be in Boston ( Read more... )

art school stereotypes are GREAT. haha. i live with them. but i love the variety of my crazy art school. today i went to an address by a fairly well-known writer, a gallery opening, and a percussion ensemble concert. the people at these types of places are ridiculous, no matter how you try to avoid stereotyping. art schools are certainly magnets for characters. :)

i hope things work out. i know how that goes.. still.. i'd love to see you in boston next year, but that's just me being selfish. take care, ktg.

I like how at 'normal' high school there's the generic art kid stereotype...then in art school it's magnified and there's subgroups. My mom and I had a discussion about this once.

I'll find a way to go to MassArt...and really college is about the education and MassArt seems to be better than Montserrat.

I almost went to an art school once. I had the opportunity to go again this year but I decided not to.... how old are you now?
