absentee? bad idea. doesn't get counted unless there's a recount, at least as far as PA is concerned.

Iowa. the campus dems set up this thing called satellite voting where people fill out absentee ballots on campus on October which are then collected and sent off en masse.

and according to various internet sources, the ballots are counted if the election people receive it by the Friday before the election. It would be pretty damn pointless to have absentee voting if they never counted any of them. Not that that doesn't suck, but it sucks a lot less than absentee ballots just not mattering.

that's pennsylvania. iowa claims to count every ballot that arrives on or before Tuesday.
