Hyeya worked. Hyeya worked like a charm and I gives unbelievable depth to the story. Oh, bby. I pray that nothing like will ever happen to anyone, but if it does..well. I reckon it's going to be hard to come back from that.

Bonus point for choosing Kyu instead of Sungmin. Most death fics are about letting Sungmin go. And I love that physical love isn't needed here, just the feeling that matters and how you deal with it knowing the other person won't be there for long. And the struggle you put them through? Yeah. That was stronger than the cancer.

I mean, you gotta choose. Do u go for it but dies inside when he dies or do you just ignore it n maybe it'll hurt less when he dies but you have to live with the "what ifs" for the rest of your life.

thank you! yes, i was listening to hyeya the entire time while writing this, so it really influenced the tone in which i was writing in :)

i think what's interesting about having kyuhyun die instead of sungmin is that seeing sungmin deal with it is much more interesting. to me, kyuhyun is the kind of person who keeps himself together very well, and although he would be hurting just as much as sungmin, sungmin just expresses it in a different way. i don't know which would be better - going for it or not - but kyuhyun's made his, and i just played with the idea.
