I figured out when my period was. The last day was the eighth. Which means it's only been a little under three weeks. Thus, I have to wait until at least Saturday/Sunday for any test to be accurate, but closer to probably Monday/Tuesday. I just called my mom and asked for the number to my gyno and I'm going to schedule an appointment to get tested ( Read more... )

this is me being completely honest (and will probably piss you off but i needed to hear it when i went through this): considering you're in a relationship with the father of said maybebaby, its not just about you. you really need to take his feelings into account because if you do choose to get it aborted without taking his wants into concideration, or converse it can really fuck him up.

No no no, didn't piss me off at all. Believe me, I would normally feel the same, but he doesn't want the baby. So it really is up to me. That's why I'm kind of leaning towards getting an abortion, because I really don't want to raise another human being all by myself, with no father.

I thought you thought you were pregnant because you thought you were late? It hasn't even been three weeks since your last period, though, so shouldn't you be in the clear?

That's ALMOST right. At first I was just concerned because I hadn't gotten my period and I couldn't remember the last time I had had it. So I was like "well, MAYBEEE there's a possibility I'm pregnant then." The only reason I started to really consider it was the dreams and the fact that I started to get nauseous and STILL hadn't gotten my period ( ... )

I hope I never, ever make you feel pressured to do any certain thing (other than take care of yourself. I'm always going to be a dictator about that, ha ha.) If you ever feel like I am, don't be afraid to tell me to back off a bit, I swear my feelings won't get hurt.

You're right, though, in that this is your decision, and neither choice is easy or obvious. What's right for one person might not be right for you, and you're the only person who can know what's right for you. (Though I'll still be here with advice whenever you want or need it. <3)

Well I seriously doubt I'm pregnant. All of this worrying is for nothing, I'm sure. But if by some chance I am, I will be sure to let you know and I have a feeling I'll be coming to you for help and advice often.

Well then, for now all I'll say is, take one day at a time. Tomorrow's problems will come soon enough, without you putting off today's to try to deal with them. And I promise you, I will do my best to offer all the help and advice I can. <3
