Oh, lord. Why in the world would he say something like that? That sounds awful. :(

I agree with his decision, if not with his reasoning: please don't walk off at three in the morning unless you have someone to escort you. Ain't nowhere that's safe at three in the morning, and if you're pregnant, remember, you're no longer responsible just for yourself.
