To make a teaser its quite simple.
First you want to make the 'Teaser' Heading, to do that you need this code:

Next you need the code to put the images under the Teaser Heading:
You can add more then three teasers, but most people only use three.
Lastly, you need to put the LJ cut under the teasers so people can see all of the icons. so use this code:

And your done. Make sure to paste the codes in your post in the same order I put them, otherwise it won't make very much sense.
