I decided to go to Against Me! alone. I'm really glad I did. I definately think I would have regretted it if I had not. I totally got lost on the way there because of all teh one way streets. Boo. It took me onto the highway into Illinois. Not good. I found my way out of that mess. I got to Mississippi Nights at about 7:10. Doors still werent ( Read more... )

Nice, I'm really jealous. I'm going to see them again in January, the 29th I think. Its going to be a big show, I am sure a billion and one people I know will be turning out. I hope they don't play a lot of songs off of their new c.d, it was a really big dissappointment. later.

They did play kind of a lot of new songs, but I guess it was equal to the amount of old songs they played. I wish they would come back here headlining, I definately need more than a half hour to get my Against Me! fix.

Yeah, I'm assuming they'll play quite a bit of their new songs, thats why they are touring. Heh. But their new c.d really, really, really blew.

I am a pro at getting lost it seems, I wouldn't make it to a show if I went alone, so at least you got there and early, and going home I usually don't mind getting lost....because you really have anywhere to be. Good luck job hunting, NEVER fun, but it is just something you must do sometimes. <333

I need to get a job as well. Too bad I don't want to. I want to wait until the school year ends, because when I get my CNA certificate, I'll be able to work at the hospital.

The show sounds pretty fun. I haven't been to a show in St. Louis since April. Way too long, eh? 'Punks' are stupid looking... I always laugh when I see the ones that are obviously walking around at shows thinking "man, I'm so fucking punk... these kids aren't as punk as me". Especially when it's for a band around here like the JV or Park or something... who are far from punk.
