I just realized that out of all the people I know/have known, I'm the only one who's yet to really start my life. I used to think I was right on track. I mean I work... a lot! I have my own house. I do everything for myself. I'm independent. Something just isn't right though

i remembered yesterday that it was your birthday, even though i haven't talked to you in forever.

and i realize i don't know anything that has gone on or is going on, or the fact that your brother died. i'm so sorry to hear that.

i hope you did have a good birthday though, and i hope you're doing well, all things considered.

Yeah, he died back in May, on the 19th.

I'm alright. The new job I started is helping. My birthday was pretty bad because I was broke and my soon to be ex decided to fight with me that day so I sat home alone and watched HBO on demand aha. I guess it's just another day though.
