Even though my dad came and got my car started yesterday, I stayed home all night. I ended up watching the season 5 finale of Grey's Anatomy. Now I have to wait until September to find out what's happening. I hate when they leave the season off with a cliffhanger. I wish they'd just wrap it up in a nice neat little package for me so I'm not going ( Read more... )

How does Ohio deal with someone with a DUI?

if you have an ohio license and get stopped in ohio for a dui you're more than likely going to lose your license for at least 6 months, you have to take the dip classes (driver intervention program) and you have to pay huge re-instatement fees and you may have to drive around with the yellow and red party plates for a while.
he had an ohio license and got stopped in wv though I don't know what they would have done. I think they'd have just suspended his driving privleges in wv and since he's LIVING in wv right now, that would kind of suck. he got out of it with a reckless op though. he hired an attorney who I guess was good at his job, I don't know.

Shoot, it's way worse here. In California, if you're under the age of 21, you can get your license suspended til the age of 25. And have to do some other stuff. Pay fee's and whatnot. If you're over the age of 21, you get your license suspended for a whole year. Have to go to AA classes for 9 months(I think.) Pay fee's, community service and a few other things. But if you do get a DUI and get your license suspended, you are only allowed to drive to work/school and back home.

It must suck being over the age of 21 and having to rely on people to give you rides and whatnot.

holy crap! remind me to never get drunk and try to drive myself anywhere in california.

My mom got a dui when i was 16 and trying to get my license, so my uncle taught me how to drive and I ended up driving my mom everywhere for 6 months. I'd have gone crazy if I had to drive her around for a whole year.
