I stepped on the scale today, and I've managed to put on another 7 pounds. This is quite amazing. Definitely not a good amazing either ( Read more... )

My goal weight is 200. But I'd be happy with being between 200-250. I'd feel more comfortable on rides that I cannot fit on.

I know how you feel, though. For sure. I'm just glad I can fit on most of the rides at Disney Land. I squeeze in that shit. Haha.

One main thing you should do, cut out soda if you drink soda. I haven't drank soda in 2 months and it's finally showing on me. I also walk an hour a day 5 days a week. Gotta get that heart rate up!

I gained 40 pounds in 07. And 20 pounds since September.
I'm disgusted with myself.

right now, I'm at 297. absolutely disgusting.
no woman should be that close to 300 lbs. ever. no excuse.

I went from a size 16 to a 24-26
and I went from being 213 lbs to 297 lbs.

I haven't drank pop in foreverrrrrr.
i really am going to the gym tomorrow though. hopefully I like it there, because I have to force myself to go everyday, and it would be nice if I actually enjoy it.

I'm a little over 300 to be completely honest. I don't like it. But I deal. I will take my time by losing the weight. I carry my weight well, though. But I'd be HAPPIER under 280. I stayed at the same weight for so long when I was in high school. Because I was more active. Now, bleh. Don't really walk anywhere other than the treadmill. Thank gosh Derek's parents have a treadmill. Don't have to go to a gym(I have bad self conciousness.)

Hey there! Remember me? LOL. I'm not so great about keeping up with LJ... Girl, I can totally relate! When I met my boyfriend 6 years ago, I lost about 30 lbs from excitement/embarrassment. I didn't eat the usual crap around him because he's like 145-150. I was down to my smallest adult weight: 185 and a size 14. And it showed! Guys noticed me. (I'm 5'9" so on me, a 14 is pretty hot.) Anyway, I started to let myself go more and more. Finally got up to 256 lbs and a size 20! This was about two year ago and I was getting ready to study abroad. All of the pictures of me are at my heaviest during that trip - I hate it! But, being in London without a car forced me to walk more and I finally joined Curves when I got back. I got down to about 219 after 8 months or so. Now I've stayed the same for over a year. It's so frustrating, especially falling into the "obese" category! I've slacked off on my exercise the past 6 months or so and I miss it! I feel sluggish and unmotivated. Hang in there, girlie! I'm now convinced that the more physical ( ... )

I, too, feel REALLY uncomfortable at traditional gyms. That's why I go to Curves once every week or two, LOL! All older women mostly - love it.

I was a member of Curves for a while and I wasn't losing weight while I was there because I still wasn't eating right, but I wasn't gaining either. (and that was at least 60 lbs ago)
The only reason I stopped going was because of the over 3 hours that they closed in the middle of the day was the ONLY time I could go because my work schedule changed.
I think once I learn how everything works at the gym (and once I get a little more motivated) I won't feel so intimidated walking in there.
