it really bums me out when my friends write each other off. friendships, like any meaningful relationship, require work; they aren't always easy, they aren't always convenient, and they aren't always fun. but that doesn't make them any less important and giving up on someone completely because you aren't getting along as well as you used to seems

yah i just don't get how you can want to stop being friends with someone just because of petty shit. it's so elementary school and sad really because in a world where everything is stacked against you, finding friendship in a world of insufferable cruelty should be celebrated and enjoyed, not thrown away on a whim. :(
