Well, I've been edge for almost 2 decades. I don't foresee it ever leaving my life. 20 years, and I'm still just as pissed off about it. As far as kids selling out, no matter how dumb it may sound, SXE isn't for everyone, and some people have to try it first to realize that. On the other hand, fuck 'em. More Straight Edge for me! How's THAT for being selfish ;)

many of my friends have sold out on straight edge and i can understand how upsetting it can be. i also understand the dedication it takes to be vegan but generalizing a disease like diabetes from having a different diet which includes meat is unfair. there are many different contributing factors to either type one and type two diabetes. i'm not questioning your beliefs on veganism but to have the right facts about a disease that has more than one factor.

my intention was not to generalize or simplify diabetes in any way; admittedly, that last section was meant to be satirical and laced with sarcasm more than anything. i understand that there are many different factors that can contribute to a disease like diabetes, some within one's control and some that are not. i hope i didn't offend you as that was not my intention

i thought about not commenting at all because this is your journal and its meant to get out your thoughts. i get frustrated when people make generalizations on diabetes because most people don't understand it. i wasnt trying to come across rude, i hope youre doing well.
