i mean, it could destroy me, but when i objectively think about it, it's almost amusing.

Ah, the joys of owning a home and business! Ugh! I think I'll stick to renting, like, for my whole life, after hearing these stories. I am so sorry you're dealing with this, and that your parents have to worry about repairing such a huge expense. and what to do in the meantime..? Jeez... The rain just makes it worse. I am sorry... if you ever need an escape, the little room I rent in a comfy, strong house is always open to you.

i know... owning a home is absolutely horrible in
situations like this.
i kept thinking, "if only i could complain to
the landlord..."
but alas, that cannot be. *sighs*

however, life goes on. we'll get through this.
forgetting the fact that my ceiling is brown, my floor
is soaked, and my room smells like it hasn't been
opened in decades, it'll be remodeled! with hardwood
floors, too. oooh nice. and this will give me
the opportunity to
clean out a lot of unwanted junk that i've kept over
the years. hahah. there is always light at the end of
the rainbow, as far as i can see.

thank you for the offer though. next time i'm in la,
i'll fore sure take up your offer. we'll watch
madonna videos until.. we die. yes.
much, much love.

so apparently i missed this post when it came up...i was just commenting to nick (grodeetoe) that it has been a long time since your last entry...i am sorry about all of the drama going on...

"my dad swearing in his native tongue"
what is your dad's native tongue?

i was also gonna ask what kind of stores your family own, but i decided to wait to ask that question at the risk of sounding like a stalker...

i am looking forward to the pictures being posted in your journal...

feel better and post more..my friends page has a big void without you=)

oooh it's okay. drama is fun for me sometimes.
except when it makes my own room uninhabitable. *grumbles* ahh well. no worries. all will be well.

my dad's native tongue is farsi. popquiz100% if you can tell me which country that's from.

my parents own two jewelry stores.
asspain business. i don't recommend it.

the pictures will be up soon, hopefully.
*glares at her friend to speed up the uploading process*

awww thank you, love!
i post when i have something of importance to say... rarely do i speak of my own personal troubles (except for this time.. heh).
but as soon as i have something decent to say.. i promise you'll be first to know!
much love!

farsi is spoken in iran...right?

along the lines of asspain business...my family used to own The Starving Artist company...selling cheap oil paintings up and down the east coast...but the blizzards of like 96 put them under..that, along with employee theft does not a good business make...

love layne...

mom's english, dad's persian. good times.
yay for mixed racial..ness.

oooh... my dad used to sell his own oil paintings for a living. i wish i'd been alive to see those days.

employee theft = asshole.
what is up with the dishonesty these days?
i mean, especially with the wonderful role model we have in our government. indeed.
