For me, I sought another who was like me for years. Someone who loved intelligent discussion, was open to religion and skeptical that Darwinism is the true source for evolution, and who was liberally minded in terms of sexual identity. Years later I've not quite found anyone like me - I am unique. I suspect that you, too, are unique. Instead of finding others like me, I have found many who are great friends. We aren't identical and sometimes we can grate on one another. The diversity, though, keeps things rich and always evolving. Instead of seeking out those who are similar, perhaps seek out those who have the qualities of a good friend: tolerance, respect, and understanding that there are different ways to perceive the world and life.
