I am really getting into photography. I like it, alot!
So... I need a good camera now. I am looking at either a Sony A100 or a Nikon D80 (reviews). It's going to cost about $2,000 for the body and lens. The Sony has image stabilization built into the body and not the lens, and has a good sensor. The Nikon has the same/similar sensor as the Sony,

I'd look for a review in a photography mag or website. Nikon does have a very good reputation for their optics.

What kinda photography are you going to be doing that image stabilization would be needed?

I like landscape shots and some nice Urban shots. But the image stabilization will be for when I go out at night and for shots w friends and such. Some of my pictures have already made it to a couple magazines ;)
