But having made the decision to buy somewhere, I have just seen that the pub next door have applied to have their hours extended to midnight and one o'clock at the weekends, beer garden 'closing' at 23:30. Given the amount of noise that comes out of the place now they have patio doors, this is not a good thing. I hope that

Inform the licensing authority that the noise is a nuisance. This may not get them turned down but it may result in a clause where they have to shut the garden or doors at 11.
