Back on the block

Having got broadband running, and set up an wireless network that Fialta and mine work pc can access, and got my linux box set up to pick up DHCP. This was a lot easier than I imagined, although I wussed out and had to use the linux GUI to change the network over. Anyone tell me how to to that via the command line? I was delving around in dhcpd.conf and the interfaces file, but didn't end up changing much.

Might ask one of you more knowledable types to take a look at my router: am using the BT recommended WEP encryption at the mo. Anything I ought to check is running?

Finally, anyone know there anything I should look out for when buying wireless cards (I guess the type a,b, g etc. )

Anyway, I have home email back again.
