how do you tell someone when their band sucks? you'd think this would be easy for me as i'm a promoter, and spent years being honest about audrey (now idols die young), but this is just hard. there's this boy that continually keeps asking me if his band can play the sco. and instead of being honest and saying no, i just kinda fumble a bit and say ( Read more... )

Potential course of action from 'sco alum: TGIF outside? Nobody cares who plays that as long as the beer's a-flowin', and he'll be happy.

Except if his name rhymes with Splom Flort, and his bands name rhymes with Schmobalt, in which case tell him I said he sucks and he's not allowed to play.

Also, when is your band playing specifically? I'm in Ohio from April 6 till the 17th, I think, and I've been reading about your musical exploits and lyric writing and such, and am pretty curious...

that would've been an excellent plan except for one small flaw: all of the tgif dates have been filled up.
as for the show: i will figure out the exact date and then i will let you know. and then you can come and pour beer on me. and i'll kick you in the teeth.
