Missing In Action?

This is more of a rant for myself then anything. Please do not be offended, sad, angry, what have you with the following.

I've been in NO for 3 months now... can't say they were excruciatingly long months nor can I say they've been fulfilling. I've completed a lot of different events that before I had never even thought of doing; Einherjar, Salvage

Meh, I'm in much the same position except I expected this to some extent going in, due to my available playtime and the number of events I can actually attend. But, it is still frustrating attending events feeling like you're just wasting your time since you go and always come away with nothing (For me, Salvage is the clear example). I always say I do the events because they're fun, and that's true, but at the end of the day everyone wants their items and when you aren't getting them you aren't going to be happy. It's almost like you feel like your efforts and hard work aren't recognized, like you're not an important member of the team because if you were you'd think the team would do more to keep you happy. (This isn't coming from my time in NO, for those who may read this and think that's the case. I have been in a couple shells over the years and seen it happen to both myself and other people

Actually I did bring it to their attention once before and was told that as I am new I can't expect to be receiving anything yet. Understandable to a point in a large shell, but at the same time it's rather frustrating.

But it seems that this won't be a problem anymore. I took a leap of faith and switched LS. I'm not sure what will come from this, but I have a strange feeling that I'll be flamed by at least one or two members for doing this. I've disappointed some people as well, which I didn't mean to, but I'm not happy in NO and I had to leave. I do <3 a bunch of them though so if anyone ever does need help with something non LS related I'm literally a /tell away. :)

Not sure if you wanted me to know about this journal or not ~ but, after receiving a tell from Liadel in game about it, I felt it kinda became my business. So here I am
