#10 - Drink
They've both learned over the years that France prefers his coffee white and with two spoonfuls of sugar while Canada likes his tea overly sweet best with some maple syrup; so that one day when France finds his coffee black with a distinctive maple taste and Canada's tea is whitened by milk, they both can't help but laugh.
#11 - Midnight

There is silence when they meet after the centuries again; afraid that words will betray them, they allow themselves to speak with their eyes.
#22 - Journey
It's little Canada's first trip to France; he runs impatiently from France's cabin to the deck and back, laughing and asking how much more time will it take to reach his papa's home; for France, journeying was never this enjoyable again before or after this.

"What in the name of everything are you doing up that tree, Matthieu?" France yells, but still catches the boy in his arms when a branch breaks and his tiny colony falls into his arms, looking up with eyes so big and shining with joy he can't find it in himself to scold Canada properly.

Canada hates being constantly forgotten, even by his own brother; but what amazes him the most is that even if France doesn't notice him sitting in the room, he has never forgotten his birthday.

#39 - Overwhelmed
There are times when Canada feels it's too much - all the candlelit dates, entire buckets of red roses sent to his place, the letters, the surprise visits and France's silly ideas of renting the entire Eiffel Tower just for the two of them - but as he smiles he knows he wouldn't change it for anything else.

#47 - Highway

Canada can swear the words he hates most are "Who are you?"; that's why he feels grateful that even if France sometimes dares to forget his name like everyone else, he doesn't let it show too badly.

The door to the conference room is locked when Arthur goes back to retrieve the papers he forgot; hearing an all-too-familiar voice of his rival along with the soft moans of his former colony, Arthur just sighs in annoy and reminds himself to kick France's ass the next time he sees him.
#50 - Breathe
Canada laughs and tells France to calm down and breathe slowly after he trips again and again, determined to learn how to ice-skate; "Tonight it will be me who tells you how to... ah, breathe," retorts the older man with a playful smile, kissing the lobe of his lover's ear as he is pulled up again.
