My 7th graders got me to read them. I had to quit reading the 3rd one for a little bit because I was reading it as an English major and someone who is moderately intelligent and was finding too many stupid mistakes. haha. However, she is bank! And it's funny to see how many of my kids, both girls and guys, have walked into my classroom carrying them. If it gets the kids reading, I as an English teacher am NOT going to complain!
