This is it. 2012. No, not the end of the world... just the end of Creation's Xena Conventions. This makes me incredibly sad. I never, ever thought I would make it to one, and then I made it in 2010 and 2011 and have already bought my Gold ticket for this year. I know how you feel. *hugs* It was one of my childhood dreams to go to a Xena Con one day. Don't think I'll make it to this last one though. :/

I made it to one day of the London Xena Con - it was awesome but it didn't seem as special as the stories I'd heard about US conventions. Couldn't people organise an unofficial thing with just fan based content rather than the stars themselves?

I think that is what is being discussed now in the fandom. Maybe even seeing if we could manage to get some guests as well. We shall see what pans out, but it's a lot of work and I don't know if anyone has the time to do it.

I've been to one con in London, but not a Creation one. I'm just happy I made it to one convention.

I know how you feel about Xena having touched you more then any other TV-show. Same for me. Same for me...

I hope you have a blast when you go there and report to us.

i have never done a convention, but i do understand the utter elation of conversing with another xenaphile, there is nothing like it, and only another can know the sheer joy just recounting her exploits, her loves, her moves, her words, those eyes, those thighs. she is the reason i am who i am today, it was my love for her that made me ok with my love of women. i understand 100%, and if 2012 is the last one, i will do everything in my power to go, because that sounds like the experience of a lifetime :)
