Holy hell! This is your first fanfic? Cuz, OMG, babe, you hit so many great notes, it's unbelievable! The rightness Xander feels with Riley? That's how right this fic is. There's just so much good stuff here, I don't even know where to begin. First, I love how the fact that Riley's a man is present in Xander's thoughts, but isn't overwhelming him - he's thinking about it, but not really questioning that it was right, just that it was different. YES! I don't have a problem with Xander questioning his sexuality, but fics in which Xander despairs over possibly being gay make me grit my teeth. GOOD job! I loved that Xander was clingy, because that's very Xander. Per canon, he's great in bed, but his low self-esteem colors all of his romances, no matter how brief. But the best part? Even if it IS angsty, is that Riley doesn't offer a pat answer. He isn't sure, but he's hopeful. That just rings so true and, for me, the fic ends on a hopeful note

Thanks, darling! I didn't expect you to read it, but I'm glad you did. I'd been thinking of trying to write for a while, but I would get scared, but after my friend was feeling all oogey, I said to myself to just do it already! LOL

Well, you have now officially read Buffy fanfiction. How does it feel to be an ubergeek (but in a cool way)? LMAO This is the kind of stuff I read all the time, except with more hawt, drrrty secks. Yea, I'm a perv, but it's fun. :-)

This is so sweet! Beautiful descriptions throughout, and I loved Xander's uncertainty at the end. Because it's so easy to swear, "Yes, we'll be together forever," and ignore the fact that reality is often horribly and generally unavoidable. Despite his flippancy, I think Xander's a realist and would be thinking about the bad, inescapable reality (at least a little) even when he's burrowing into Riley's arms.
