This wrapped things up beautifully -- there's the sense that it's not going to be easy for them, and there's going to be some give-and-take, but if Finn can get some belief in himself, and if Kurt can adjust to the fact that Rachel might well feel very put out if she has to live in the dorms (what an awkward apartment-sharing situation that might turn out to be) and that Finn's not always going to be the best communicator or follow his head, I think they can work out. It's resolved, but sort of not resolved, and I'm glad for that. Love is never easy.

Finn can’t blame him; he wouldn’t pick himself over the fabulous life of New York.

Can someone give this boy some self-esteem, please?

Chemistry kind of throws him for a loop, but otherwise they seem to go okay.

I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE.

“Wait…” Kurt gestures with a flat hand like he’s trying to slow down time. “Is that what all that was? Some ‘if you love him, let him go’ garbage?”I can't remember if you wrote this before the S3 finale, but the difference between this, and between ( ... )

Nope. haha!

I'm pretty sure I wrote this part after the finale, because I remember thinking, "Kurt would never let Finn make that kind of decision for him." I wanted to throw in a Kurt line about that, but it just didn't work.

No, Rachel, it probably isn't but she KNOWS.

OMG, thank you so much for picking up on that! It's NOT the one Kurt would pick, but it's the one that Rachel would misguidedly think that he would. And yes, it reveals that she knows something about the two of them. You are so smart! <333

And Jenni follows canon with more believability than the Glee writers do in one single line.

That's what Gen said too, hee!

If I could, I'd write Burt's reaction in EVERY FIC, because he'd react differently in different situations. In fact, I have several Kinn bunnies frolicking in my head, and they pretty much all include Burt's reaction to their relationship. It's a Thing.

THANK YOU, BB. SRSLY. *SUPER GLOMPY HUGS*

Wow. A Kinn big bang. How wonderful! I'm so impressed that you kept this totally in Finn's POV. I would have been very tempted to put Blaine and Kurt's thoughts in there (in fact, I'm DYING to see parts of this from their POV!!)

I really enjoyed this!

Hee, thanks so much! I have a lot of the other's characters' POVs and backstories in my head, so if you have a specific question about Kurt or Blaine's thoughts, I might be able to provide some insight. :-)

Oh, I think you could do a whole side-story about Kurt and Blaine: what was Blaine's motivation to talking to Finn about Kurt, why did he only decide to pursue Kurt after Finn showed interest, what did Kurt talk to Blaine about all those times they were off alone, what was the argument about that Kurt mentioned to Finn, what brought about their breakup...

You could do a whole series of vignettes from both Kurt and Blaine's POVs elaborating on points in your story.

Hmm. That would be an interesting series to do, but I have so many projects lined up already! I can answer those questions if you want, but if I ever write it, I can let you know. Up to you. :-)

Barely finished, and I'm still giggling over parts of it. It was so good! I loved Burt, and the way you portrayed Finn felt very well done. And Kurt's drama with Blaine, I loved that!

I really enjoyed Finn eating Lucky Charms, for some reason. I can totally see him eating with his eyes closed for the most part.

And, although I have no love for Blaine, or much for Rachel, I'm glad you didn't go into a big bash fest. I liked learning he did fencing, and she could accept them as a couple. I loved that Puck wasn't a homophobic jerk, by the way. It's so easy to portray, and that you didn't was lovely.

All I'm wishing for now is more, of course. Sweet fic!

Oh, gosh! Thanks so much for commenting even though I posted this a while back. It's never too late to comment! :-)

I'm glad you loved Burt. I love writing Burt and was pretty proud of him in this.

I don't like bashing even if I don't like characters, and I really wanted things to be as smooth and angst-free as possible for Kurt and Finn. Because that makes me happy. <3
