The creepy Mallet has invaded their privacy. Phone calls at that hour! He needs a dose of Otalia put down. The hell with his engagement. If they are true to themselves they are saving Marina from a world of hurt in the future. The only thing I see as a downside is that when the shit hits the fan, the entire town will know of her past line of work and that might hurt the relationship with Rafe. Gotta be done, though. the man is an asshole.
Love the "girlfriend" slip. well not really a slip. It was beautifully done.
And the love...well, that was beautifully done too. And it was needed to counteract the ugly at the beginning. Well crafted!

wow...that was fantastic! loved this chapter! I am glad that N told O that it was Mallet on the phone! He is becoming scary! I think that they need to get in touch w/Doris to see what they can do to stop him w/o much of N's past coming to light!!! Thank you for the well wishes for Christmas with my wife and daughter... My wife will be in upstate NY w/her family & I am surprising her with our daughter flying from New Orleans to be w/her mom & family while I stay in Manassas, VA w/our puppies and some of my family...I have to work...so, this sucks!
