So I had to do some research on Tampa and Florida for a presentation and I realized that Tampa has a lot more to offer than most of us know. I encourage everyone to find out what's happening in their community and get involved. It makes me sad that people don't even know their neighbors ( Read more... )

lindsey.......not to be harsh..but you live in one of the largest suburban developments in hillsborough county...not to mention it was built on a giant swamp.

uhh i'm pretty sure my parents bought the house not me.

also, riverhills is also a wildlife preserve. mostly for bird life. there are conservation areas that no one can touch in it.

I am going to buy a bike soon and ride it to both the mall and old chicago. I have been meaning too since forever.

I think what you wrote was really good. Journal entries like this one rock...cause it gets us kids thinking. It's us that have to do something before it is too late....Nobody else is going to.

this is when you now realize that FL is a major shithole and move to the NW. the cities have certain amount of space for commercial building. on top of that... TRIMET (company in portland used for public trans) is rated one of the most effecient (enviromentally as well as economically) in the U.S. they have just converted all of the buses here to bio diesel.
