Yay, exam results ^^
Yep, the results of the January exams came out a few days ago, always something I look forward to XD I didn't do too badly though.
Biology - A
Maths C3 - A
Maths Statistics - A
Chemistry - C
History - D
Well, first of all, Biology ^^ That was a resit and you have no idea how pleased I am with that result, when I first took the exam I got 77/105, this time round I got 91/105, I gained so many marks, I couldn't believe it, I hadn't even really thought that much about the exam ^^
The two maths results, I did better in stats than C3, with 93 and 80 out of 100 respectively, stats is another result I was overjoyed with, I hadn't expected to do that well. C3 I'm also pleased with, but I'm going to resit anyway, just because C4 is meant to be a shocker of an exam, so if I can pick up some more marks it'll take the pressure off a bit. As if I'm going to resit for the fun of it ¬.¬ XD
Chemistry, I know I could have done better on that exam, I knew I'd made some stupid mistakes when I took it, so that I was only 1 mark off a B isn't too bad really, but I'll resit, hopefully I can get a higher score, I did last year when I got a similar result in my first Chemistry exam. I want to do well in Chemistry, because I do find it interesting, even if it is a nightmare of a subject!
And finally...History. Yay. I fail. Completely. I've taken that exam 3 times now. First time round, got a C, second time, an E, this time a D. I've spoken to my teacher and he said he'll think about it and talk to me tomorrow. I'm not sure it's worth resitting though, I keep doing badly in this one exam, in my other History modules I got As, and if I do even worse in my next resit then they'll take that score, not my highest. But this shows I fail at document papers, I'm only good at essay style questions, I can't compare sources to save my life XD
Well, that's that out of the way ^^ What next? Oh yeah, I have a random maths story. It's not massively interesting, but I might as well tell it anyway XD Basically, it started last Wednesday when I answered a question that nobody else could manage, not even my teacher. Everyone was slightly confused by my working etc and my teacher couldn't cope with being beaten by me, so he spent the rest of the week trying to work out a simpler way XD Apparently he almost gave up at one point and was going to give my some "Twiglets of truth" before deciding I might not like them, so went out and bought some "Hula-hoops of hope" then he worked out a simpler solution, proclaimed himself victorious and ate them XD How gutted was I that he told me XDDD I don't want to know that I ALMOST got free food XD Oh well, I still beat him, it only took me about 15 minutes to work out the answer, compared to his few days ^^
I have another amv to show you ^^ I didn't intend on posting another amv, I hardly ever bother, but I seem to fall in love with random stuff too easily lately, then I have to share it around XD It's another Ouran one, I'm in a bit of an Ouran mood recently. This time it has the Be Prepared song from the Lion King. It's another one focused on Kyouya...I swear, there'll be no more XD
