Parrots aren't terribly smart by human standards, one might even say bird-brained. They're pretty smart for a bird though, most of them devoting quite a bit of that tiny brain to talking and dancing. Rather like me really.

Kea can solve some pretty complex puzzles and use teamwork to navigate complicated mazes etc.
In the intelligence stakes, that puts them above a lot of humans I've met. If I was as awesome as a kea, I would spend my life vandalising shit, too. Because I could. :D
