Personality Questions
What are your likes/dislikes?: I like pizza, sleeping, people who have a good sense of humor, old literature, old movies (especially horror and westerns) and people who know how to be serious when they need to be. I don't like... people who view my general goofyness as a bad thing and a sign of immaturity, while at the same time having complete and utter disgust for people who aren't serious, even when they need to. I don't like people who are really preachy about their personal beliefs and politics, but then get all bitchy when you counter/criticize them.
What are your fears/dreams?: Not a lot... and not in the "I'm so manly, I'm not afraid of anything" boastful type way. But I've had to get over most of my fears throughout the course of my life. Whats left now... is failing and making an ass out of myself, in addition to heights. Which I've also gotten over for the most part. My dreams... I would like to get a book published one day. I wanna get married and settle down at some point, though who knows if I'll ever be able to do that, haha. I tend to move around a lot in that way. I also want to get a job where I can help people. I want to work for an organization that fights for the rights of an oppressed people. I'm studying Anthropology, and plan on spending a year or so traveling around th eworld, studying Native and Aboriginal cultures in North America, Mexico, Hawaii, and Australia, so that way I can actually do something to help them.
What are your favorite hobbies?: Reading, writing, running, wrestling. Playing video games. Cooking. Just hanging out... I dunno. I can have fun in almost any situation.
What are your pet peeves?: People who get too caught up in themselves. People who don't know how to have a good time, but then don't know how to be serious when they have to be. People who have to step on others to feel good about themselves. People who are loaded with machismo and excessive ammounts of pride.
Are you a leader or a follower?: In all honesty, I would rather be a follower than a leader. But, I've tried that. It just doesn't really work that well. I usually end up taking charge of situations because nobody else will, because most of my friends are a little more passive than I am.
Describe your personality: I am active and fun, goofy and hilarious. But when it comes time to get down to business, I'm like a completely different person. I'm not really absent minded or anything, but I tend to get so caught up in something that I'm doing that most other things just kind of pass me by. I'm a somewhat private person... I don't really tell people a huge ammount about myself unless they ask. And even then, I tend to be somewhat hesitant to actually give them anything that they can actually work with. Even when I get romantically involved with someone, I try to hold them at an arms distance. Because as much as I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic when it comes down to it, I have a bad habit of hurting people I get involved with. I'm horrible at flirting, though I manage to get by somehow. I'm also kinda cynical.
What would you do if you found $100 on the side of the road and didn't know who it belonged to?: I'd probably look at it for a few minutes, and then look around for a few minutes to see if there was anyone there. But in the end, I'd end up keeping it, unless someone came by and was like "oh, by the way did you see a hundred dollars just lying around here?" At that point I wouldn't really lie. But uhh... yeah.
