Tonight is the night! After waiting four long months I finally get to go see Vicki Lawrence and Mama : A Two Woman Show. I'm taking Shayne (Squirrels mom) as my date for this event. It's sad because I know only one of my friends moms would appreciate seeing a show like this. lol ( Read more... )

I HAD to stumble in when I saw you had Vicki Lawrence listed in your interests.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE LOVE LOVE VICKI. She rocks!!! I already saw her last year, and I am going to see her again in October. I even got to meet her!!!

How was it? Did you get to meet her? ;-) She is INCREDIBLY nice and sweet in person.

(and yes...the LJ icon is of me with her, hehe)

dont you run a Mamas Family site? I know Ive seen your name on the message board before.

I didnt get to meet her, I honestly didnt try. I was with a friend of miens mom and I didnt want to drag her around. Had I been alone I would have tried.

Exactly how do you go about meeting her?

Close- I run a Vicki Lawrence site, but it DOES have stuff about Mama's Family on it (not very big- it only has a complete ep guide, bloopers and pictures from an episode TBS doesn't air).

Hehe...I was with a friend too when we both saw Vicki...but I still went backstage anyway. :)

When I saw her, it was at the Spirit Lake Casino venue, and I knew the lady who was behind the show (that is, getting Vicki to come to Spirit Lake Casino), so she took me backstage. :)
