My main issue is the lack of user-friendliness, indeed. The interface is annoyingly kludgy and generally.. well, unusuble, really. I want my FPS-twitch-responsiveness, dammit. c.c

Apart from that, I just.. didn't find any reason to stay. I'd much rather have a MUCK, I think. The concept's nice, but it's just.. not working for me ;P

That said, I do hop on from time to say hi to a few people.. just not in any real capacity. S'just it's swallowed so many of my friends of late that it's the only way I get to poke one or two.

The reason for the game being slow most of the time is due to the high stress the GPU is put under due to having zero zoning, zoning is everyhting in a game, get on a poorly zoned map in a old game like UT: GOTY and it will take your precious Gf6 and ATI X series to the ground. therefore the only solution to that is get one of the newest lines, you'll find it plays perfectly fine, I have a older card and with the settings turned down I avg 15-40FPS which is not bad for a Gf4 TI4200TE so yeah. Also is EXTREMELY CPU based, nothing short of my poc do I reccomend which is a Intel Prescot 533FSB 2.66. And a gig of RAM is also reccomended, as for the actual fun stuff of the game, it takes a bit of gettign used to but once you find a good place everyone will teach you how to use everything. SL is a game that takes more then a few days to get into and enjoy.

Keva's two cents
