Heh, C difficile isn't so uncommon here, there's quite a few people who catch that in hospitals. It's just apparently rather hard to get rid of. But usually it's because people who catch it are usually at the hospital for some other illness or problem, and quite often old and have a weakened immune system.
But it's good to hear it's not the other thing, and yeah, what you have should go away after a bit with the proper treatement.
Also, on a side note, I find it funny, Colitis Ulcerosa is called Ulcerative Colitis here in the states, and the Spanish second-half of Clostridium Difficile, I'm willing to bet, has a more Latin form of itseld here as well.
I don't know why I noticed this, just a weird observation. >.>
