It's a miracle!

I got Mass Effect to run on my laptop! I had recently upgraded to a 750 gig notebook hard drive (sure was easy to install, much easier than a desktop), and two gigs of RAM (previously I only had one gig), and I thought, hell why not try to install it? Awesome! Why does it look so ugly though? Do you have the settings turned way down. Because really that game should look way better than DA.

Just a warning though... ME2 has some majorly hefty graphics requirements in comparison to ME1. I had a hell of a time getting it to play on my own rig when I could get both DA and ME1 to play gorgeously (in fact, I just gave up and bought a new machine, because really it was time anyway). So definitely check out the system requirements before you buy the second game.

It's ugly probably because the settings are turned way down, the faces just look... urgh. Who'd want to kiss those silicone-injected lips? XD Anyway, I bought ME2 for 20 bucks from Amazon, and I managed to reach the game menu, so I have high hopes that it can actually run. Before ME1 just hung on the company logo movies.
