It's just aging and maybe the way your hair was.

You look REALLY young in those pictures on the left. I can see when you hit the emo stage (third picture down). Then the "I am always wearing sunglasses" phase. Then the "myspace picture" phase. Then the "I've been practicing making out with a tree" phase. Then the "I totally sat on a rock with ants all over it" phase...then the .... whatever the last one was my foot is asleep.

The pictures are arranged to convey the general way my face looked during the time period. It's not aging, or the way my hair was. Something about my face, or maybe what's behind it, changed.
