My habit of writing that I had years ago has been refocused into a variety of other endeavors, and it hasn't resurfaced in the form of blogging so much. It's a little disappointing to me, as I enjoy seeing what I was thinking and talking about months and years ago. So I do keep trying to keep up some level of this sort of writing. I also think

So, we absolutely love life in the Seattle area (we live in a small town in the Cascade foothills that I can highly recommend). Especially when you don't have a commute.

The only caveat I'd make is that right now we're in the dry season. We happen to like rain, and mists, and so the wet season is just fine, but that is something you need to be aware of.
