I saw Be Kind Rewind tonight, which is a charming and funny valentine to getting back to enjoying movies for movies' sake. I don't know why the story had to be so convoluted to get to this point, but for decidedly implausible reasons Jack Black and Mos Def find themselves obligated to remake hit movies with no budget, minimal cast, and one camera
