I had suspected that my avian nemesis was a mockingbird, and in talking to a friend of mine who, it turns out, has the exact same problem, my suspicions were confirmed ( Read more... )

tee hee. the song types on that site (and your references to the book) make me giggle.

when I hear birds chirping, it's a sign that I have stayed up too late.

I wonder what they would sound like if you put some tequila in a birdbath...hehehehe....

Last night the bird started singing at 11 pm. Is that too late? Usually I hear birds starting pre-dawn. BUT NOT THIS ASSHOLE.

There were some berry bushes by my house growing up and occasionally they would ferment and the birds would eat them and get drunk. It was pretty funny.

Mix up a little tiny cup of birdseed with some extra special ingredients inside: minced Alka-Seltzer tablets and rat poison. This may, however, end up killing more than just your enemy.

Arlene suggests using a .22 pistol or BB-gun, both of which you don't own. She's taken out "those vile bluejays" as well as "woodchucks that think they own the yard" and "evil, evil snakes."
