Go bye-bye!

The last 3 days have been utter hell. My wisdom teeth started hurting me SO bad that my mouth, ear, neck, and shoulder on the left side were all killing me. Any and all pain killers only slightly curbed the pain, and only for a short time. I called my mum in tears and said she didn't care what she had to do, she'd find a way to get the money so I ( Read more... )

It'll be ok Anthony. I had 6 wisdom teeth to get taken out (yes you read that right, 6, I had 2 extra on top) and you feel so much better once they're out. I wasn't knocked out completely when I had mine out, but I was out enough that I barely had any concept of what was going on. It was like being half asleep, or really really drunk. Good luck!

Hey! I had 6 wisdome teeth too. Be glad, I was numb but awake when they took mine out (my choice, though, why go under if you don't have to?). Playing with your numb lip is the best part. Feel better, Mahtha!

Anthony ...

As previously mentioned above -- you will feel MUCH BETTER once your wisdom teeth are out. I had to have surgery to get my two bottom ones removed -- my top ones are still there because there was plenty of room for them to grow in ...

I hope you feel better.

i had to get all four taken out. the actual surgery wasn't bad. they gave me laughing gas (and i got a little to friendly with the assistant... asking personal questions and shit) and then this IV drip stuff that made the surgery seem like it was only 5 minutes long. the dr. was like "you've been knocked out for 45 minutes"...

the afterwards hurts... there were nights where my jaw hurts about as much as you're describing now (crying and screaming even after taking prescription meds). turns out my blood didn't clot up (ew right?) or something but once they fixed it, it was alllll goood.

so in other words, don't be skerred! =)
