it's raining in baltimore

after checking the weather for the bay area this morning - and discovering that, yet again, it's going to be "80 degrees and sunny", i wondered what was forecast for the places that i've lived in the past. in upstate ny it's going to rain all day- and be cold. in baltimore, rain is also forecast, but accompanied by thunderstorms. i genuinely feel

this morning was humid yet cool, but then in the middle of the day it finally dried off and got slightly warmer and it was really nice, but there was a huge black sheet of cloud hanging right on top of hampden and as i walked toward it i started getting random breezes of cold humid air from it and then when I was almost to my car and right underneath it, the whole thing dropped all at once. There were no rain drops, it was one big giant splash. I swear. As I drove around the rest of the city I found it was like that, lots of dry sunny places and small spots of dark heavy rain. It's neat to watch without actually being under it, and it's neat watching lightning during the bright daylight.
