We have a new addition in the house - a cat. I don't know why Meg hasn't posted yet, so I'll do the honors. :)
This is the picture Meg saw when she was perusing petfinder.com (a rather regular activity for her as of late). The colors on the face are all correct, but this has to be the best worst Photoshop job I've ever seen (an awfully detailed crop to include the mane fur, but put on top of the WORST background ever!)
His taking to the new house has been really remarkable. We brought him in the house in a carrier, left him in there for a few minutes while we finished setting up his bowls and litter box, then opened the carrier. What we expected was that he would hide for a little while longer, or find a hiding spot somewhere in the area. He didn't - he came right out and insisted that we pet him for a long time. His insistence on being petted made it really hard to photograph him the first night. Meg was able to get a better picture of him today, though - fully Photoshop Free for your viewing sanity
He's already taken to the litter box, living room, lower fish tank, kitchen table, and now he's reading the entry over my shoulder. More later, but wanted to get pictures out tonight
