That was really fascinating. If Saudi women doctors migrated to other countries - they'd be seen as high status, good contributors to society rather than people whose movements/occupations and fertility/sexual expression must be tightly controlled in order to prevent dishonour.

According to the Saudi guys I hung out with the other night, this is all changing but the changes are so slow that it could take years before women see freedom anywhere like other countries.
