Ugh. A flight loses 3 out of 4 bags that I brought? I'd be screaming for blood at that point.

Be glad they didn't hand you parachutes. The first time I traveled alone at the tender age of 18, they lost my luggage for a week. That was out of a 2-week vacation to California. All my stuff was in it. I had to borrow from the friends I was staying with and the only person who was my size was a guy. I wore guys clothing... everything. BVD's aren't bad at all! heh. My clothing went to Hawaii and had a better time, I'll bet.

Here's hoping the rest of the orientations and such go well for you two. You have managed to barely escape the heat wave here in the Midwest. Tokyo is cooler than Indiana by about 10-15 degrees.
