JOKE landing on a double word score should be 30, right? ( 8 + 1 + 5 + 1 ) * 2 = 30

So how come I only got 17 for it?

No, it's on a triple letter score, not a double word score.

Dark blue = 3x letter
pale blue = 2 x letter
pale pink = double word score.

Oh balls, I thought it was light blue for double letter, dark blue for double word etc.

If you can't remember the colours you can right-click the board and choose 'Numbered Board'
