I refuse to be a part of Livejournal any longer.

There's a line between "poor management" and "outright abuse." That line has been crossed, and I can no longer ethically support Livejournal on any level.

wait, aside from the 'revamped' comment page, what's wrong with it now?

It starts from all the problems the comment page causes. People rely on subjects for trigger warnings and such; several users with severe anxiety problems and such have ended up reading some things that really upset them, because the lack of a subject caught them off-guard.

Worse, however, is how the current chief of LJ is handling the backdraft. He outright makes fun of everyone who is upset with it, and claims that the removal of the subject is justified because "less than 1% of comments use it." Overall he's just being a huge jerk to his paying customers, and dares people to leave. It's not like it makes a difference of course - he will always have users because Russia desperately needs Livejournal right now, so they'll put up with any dictatorial changes he makes as long as they continue to have a forum for their political blogging
