Poor Buffy. I love this line: But she wasn’t enjoying herself, and therefore had every right to assume anything she liked.

Silly, silly daywalker. Deluding yourself royally, aren't you, Spike? Except that you can't anymore, unless you want to hole up in your mansion forever.

I was hoping Dawn would spot him. I like stories where Dawn sees him first, turns out fun. Buffy's still Miss Doom and Gloom. The 15 year-old her would have loved the whole thing, but she's far removed from girly dreams now.

Is Rowena a fairy godmother, after all, acting in the PTB's interests for their champions? :D

Yeah I do too. Who's to say Dawn won't be the first to see him. I rather like building up building up the tension before they meet, rather than having it be quick and simple.

Rowena...will be explained eventually :) But your ideas about her are...interesting. ;)

Glad you like it! I didn't want him to be human completely, because, I'm a sucker for vamp spike :D
