Is it just me, or...?

Why do all of these articles I keep reading about problems people face in the workplace all assume that everyone works in an office? I know one person that works in an office. One. Everyone else I know have jobs in either factories, retail, or food service. How is any of the article's advice going to help us?

Also, a spider bit my face last night

Was the spider radioactive? Are you gonna have superpowers now?

Alas, no. I had face-swelling powers. Ibuprofen is my weakness.

It's a sad fact that the service industry is considered invisible. You would think that they would change that considering the fact that it employs SO MANY people (in fact, office positions in the States are going down and the only occupation really going up IS the service industry) but apparently that's just not going to happen.

The people up at the top would just like to pretend that everyone works 9-5 making a living wage and no one has to work weekends. -_-
