By AU I mean Alternate Universe (though Australia is my second favourite meaning!). I'll be sticking some stuff over on inkstains soon too.

Wow. And the universe that spins off from this would be infinitely different. No "All Things," no sex, no William, maybe Mulder doesn't get abducted, and even if he does, Kick-ass Scully is still around to find him. I think I like this show. Alternate season eight for the win.

Ok now you're making me want to write AU season 8! lol This is a great episode to write AU for though - to me it seems like such a turning point for them - just imagine how different things would have been.

I actually am writing an alternative season eight, but it starts with Requiem, I guess. But, I agree, this would be a great starting point, too.
