I had no idea that this would be so effing stressful. o__O The last thing I need in life is more stress right now - believe me. I could go on and on about why this is stressful for me but I will spare you. I won't spare my flist, however. There WILL be a tearful rant there later

positive stuffs:
+ great coloring and the text is amazing.
+ Aside from it being the baddest baddie in the X-Files Verse, I love the tone that the black and white icon provides. Particularly because it's not an absolute black or an absolute white. This icon lives in the greys, just like CSM. And the "watched presidents die" part is inspired beyond compare. Pure poetry.
+ good crop and colour
concrit:
- the text is the only thing that lets this icon down, the placement is just a bit odd on such a close crop, esp. just under his nose. His face could also have a tiny bit more contrast to balance the solid white of the text.
- the image looks slightly distorted + the cropping is not quite flattering combined with the font and text placement
- the right side is just a tad too dark....slightly brighter would emphasize the contrast the between left and right sides of his face.
- the crop is good, but the black dark spot over powers the icon. Too much shadow.

+ Very clever quote; the texture and coloring go perfectly with the theme of the icon.

+ the colouring is superb, its perfectly sharpened, and it overall looks cool.
concrit:
- the blurry white on the sides doesn't add much to the image - it detracts from the focus, the person.
- the texture used overpowers the image. the icon is over-sharpened.
- This icon is too yellow-orange and sharp.
concrit - disqualified for being too vague:
- the texture use of this icon is not as affective as the others
