I think this episode is okay. The references to the Terminator movies do amuse me a little, actually, heh. I find Nora Pearce to be really annoying, though.

On the upside I like the way Ray turns into metal, the metal plucking makes me squick, in a good way though. And I found the ending kind of sad for some reason, how weird.

I agree with all of this. I'm still trying to process exactly what is slightly melancholy about the end.

...the last time I commented here, Mulder was still around. That is also saddening :(

I don't even need to make my own comment, because these are the exact three things I was going to say, lol.

I haven't watched this one yet so I don't remember much but the one thing that stands out in my memory is the ending, when the metal man gets crushed (or something). A bit heartbreaking.

(I've been away from these discussions for far too long)

It took me like ten minutes to realize that the main character in this ep is Bellick from Prison Break, lol. For some reason I always remember it as being Felicity's dad from Felicity, but I think he was Amber Lynn LaPierre's dad in SUZ/Closure.

This is a "meh" episode to me. The teaser had some baaaad acting. wow. This ep really makes it look like Scully is just going through the motions of solving a case. But in my head that's because she can't function without her lover gone ;P

And what's with all the "no ordinary man" crap?

meh.

That would be my reasoning for it too actually. Shes just doing it because its her job, but she doesnt really want to because she missed Mulder and wants her sexytimez back. Not that Skinner wasnt doing wonders for her, but theres no substitute for Mulder ;o)

You're so gross dude.

I can see Skinner being attracted to Scully probably (because she's HOT) but definitely not the other way around.

Sometimes I wonder how you are my friend. *sobs*

:P
