The baby nurse thing is ridiculous, start to finish. How does doing Scully's laundry and cooking her dinner count as being a "baby nurse" - especially when there's no baby yet? Ridiculous
( ... )
I love the little things in this ep. Scully stitching up Mulder's head, and the fact that he's so comfortable in her kitchen that he nonchalantly helps himself to a glass of water, just like he lives there. *swoon*
And Krycek running over Billy Miles is SO UTTERLY KICK ASS. Ratboy is hot. Doggett & Reyes cease to matter - Krycek/Mulder/Scully/Skinner are so awesome on their own.
I think it's sweet that Mrs. Scully is so concerned about her daughter that she hired a nanny for her before the kid has even arrived (which makes sense in a way because at least then the nanny would know her way around the apartment by the time the kid is born). She meant well, even if it turned out to be a disaster.
Was anyone else reminded of IWTB when Scully objects and tells Mulder that she can't live her life as one unending X-File? Sounded very familiar, and I liked that line because it made Scully's stance in IWTB that much more believable and realistic
